As governments the world over struggle to provide adequate amounts of the right types of education and training to the young, those over the age of 25 are often left to fend for themselves. The premise of The Argument for Lifelong Learning for All is that learning is a fundamental human characteristic and to deny people the right to learn is to deny their humanity.
